Welcome to my little home on the Internet! If you were in my actual house, Iβd offer you a drink and start raiding the pantry for snacks so we dive into the deep stuff (Iβm not great at small talk). My internet home isnβt much differentβthereβs food to savor and words to mull over about Scripture, family, and living your everyday life with joy and endurance.

Ham, Apple + Parmesan Panini
In these weeks in between feasts, Iβm trying to keep it simple. Weβre eating leftovers, soups I made a while back and stored in the freezer, and sandwiches. Itβs so easy for me to go overboard in the kitchen during the holidays, and that only adds to the stress and overwhelm this time of year. But Iβm learning to be realistic, simplify, and still eat food thatβs really good.
Fig, Prosciutto + Goat Cheese Panini
Figs. For some reason, I have been obsessed with them in the last few weeks. I snagged a package at Trader Joe's not long ago, and now all I can think of are fig recipes. I've enjoyed them roasted with a spoonful of mascarpone, with yogurt in the morning and on top of cornbread. You may even see a fig-based cocktail coming to the blog soon. Yup, obsessed.
